PERCH is a platform for Indian perspectives on art, design and culture.

The PERCH Project is an initiative by Mumbai-based studio Kahani Designworks.

Led by Ruchita Madhok and Aditya Palsule, our team of collaborators, writers and observers is committed to building meaningful discourse about the place of art and design in everyday life. We like to think of this online space as a place for Perspectives—Exchanges—Research—Conversations—History. PERCH is also a resource to document the serious and sometimes not so serious debates about how creative thinking could be and should be used in present day India.

Follow us on twitter @tweetsperch or join our page on Facebook to stay up-to-date on the latest writing, news and views from India.

Point of View presents informed analysis and opinion. A space to consider, to review, to critique or even just to think-out-loud.

Quick Takes consist of short reviews and observations.

The Show and Tell section carries first person accounts and interviews with leading designers, artists, experts and educators, who tell us more about their work, philosophy and experience.
